Before You Start

  • Connect to WiFi - you need internet to download the eSIM
  • Have your QR code ready (from your confirmation email)
  • Check your device supports eSIM

iPhone / iPad Installation Steps

Open Settings

Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data)

After Installation

Activation

Enable Data Roaming

Make sure to enable data roaming for your Wing eSIM in settings. Don't worry - you won't be charged extra roaming fees.

Keep Your Number

Your primary SIM stays active for calls and texts. The Wing eSIM is data-only, running alongside your regular plan.

Restart If Needed

If you don't see a connection after landing, try restarting your device. This refreshes network settings.

Troubleshooting

QR code won't scan

  • Ensure good lighting and clean camera lens
  • Try increasing screen brightness on the QR code
  • Enter activation code manually if available

eSIM won't activate

  • Check you have a stable WiFi connection
  • Restart your device and try again
  • Ensure your device supports eSIM

No data connection

  • Enable data roaming in settings
  • Select the eSIM for mobile data
  • Restart your device after arriving

Can't find eSIM settings

  • Update your device to the latest OS
  • Check if your device model supports eSIM
  • Contact your carrier - some lock eSIM features
